sjdiscord.com is a one-page website for South Jersey Discord, an unofficial community run by local volunteers. It isn't affiliated with Discord Inc. or Meta. This notice explains what the website collects. It's short because the site collects very little.
What this site collects
- No accounts or forms. You can't sign up or log in here, and the site doesn't ask for your name, email or location.
- Meta Pixel, when it's turned on. To measure our Instagram and Facebook ads, the site may use the Meta Pixel. When it's on, it sets cookies and sends Meta information such as the page you visited, your browser and device, your IP address, the ad you came from, and whether you tapped "Join the Discord." Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account and use it under its own policy. We see only combined, anonymous ad reports. We don't see who you are.
- Member count. Your browser may ask Discord's public invite service how many members the server has, so we can show that number. That request goes from your browser to Discord.
- Hosting logs. Like any website, our host may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request, for security and troubleshooting.
We don't sell your information, and we don't run any other analytics or advertising trackers.
Links to Discord and Instagram
"Join the Discord" takes you to Discord, and any Instagram link takes you to Instagram. Once you're there, their own privacy policies apply: Discord's privacy policy and Meta's privacy policy.
Your choices
- You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use a content or tracker blocker. The site still works without them.
- You can control how Meta uses ad activity through your ad preferences on Facebook and Instagram.
Age
The community is for adults 18 and over. The site isn't intended for children.
